We sell booths for individuals and organizations
for the festival. This is a great opportunity for fundraising or
to promote your activities. Watch these videos to get an idea of
what booths look like and what it can do for your organization (Windows
Media Player 9 required):
Booth Information
To obtain a booth for the Tet 2005 Festival, please
read the following to determine what type of booth you need to
apply for.
- Preferred Booth ($1000): Preferred booths are booths
of any kind, but are located in preferred and high-traffic areas
(corner booths or ones located near the stage).
- Food Booth ($800): if you are selling food, from prepackaged
food such as candies or cookies in boxes, any types of jerky
in sealed bag or if you are selling food made on site such as
BBQ, corn on the cob, salads, and drinks, you need to apply
for a food booth.
- Commercial Booth ($700): if you are selling any products
or services, you have to apply for a commercial booth. This
includes sales of CDs, electronics, fabrics, phone cards, cell
phones to services such as travel, massages, palm reading.
- Game Booth ($600): if you are offering fee-based entertainment,
such as game booths like basketball, where you can win a prize,
you have to apply for a game booth.
- Exhibition Booth ($500): you need to apply for an exhibition
booth if you want to advertise, or bring awareness to any kind
of information. This includes display forms of art, information
on voting, health issues to free services such as hair cut,
massages, or free testing for diabetes. There cannot be any
exchange of monetary values for any of the products or services
made on site.
Additional Fees
- Orange County Environmental Health Permit: $105 (for Food
Booths only)
- City of Garden Grove Business Tax: $25.50
- Trash Service: $50 (for Food Booths), $25 (for all other booths)
- Non-Profit Discount: There will be a $100 discount on the
total price if you are a Non-profit (501(c) 3 status) organizations
- Refundable Deposit: $200 (separate check)
Booth Application
In order to apply for a booth for the Tet 2005 Festival, please follow
the following steps:
- Download the checklist for your booth and other required documents below and complete the paperwork required
- Return the completed package including your cashier check or money order for the full amount (payable to UVSA Tet Festival) to the UVSA office: 12821 Western Ave Suite H, Garden Grove, CA 92841. We cannot accept cash or personal checks.
Our office hours are:
Monday - Friday: 12pm - 6pm
Saturday: Appointment Only (schedule by emailing vendors@thsv.org)
Sunday: Close
- Choose your appropriate location from the available booths at the time you turn in your completed paperwork at our office
- Be available for the mandatory Vendor meeting to pick up your
vendor package for access to your booth such as information
you need to know from the Tet 2005 Committee: map, tickets,
parking permit, requirement from Fire Department, Board of Equalization,
Environmental Health Department
